New website is here! Holy hat rack it is a beauty, easy to navigate and addresses our needs. Kudos to Ryan and Ariel and Christian.
Ya gotta stop by during our Young Eagles club events on Saturday afternoons. Once a month we host our youth and try to stay out of their way as they learn, laugh, and work hard at building their RC airplanes. Fred Page and Peter Baumeler have created a challenging, inclusive and fun learning environment for the kids and... for us! Man, I get a far better buzz from these young citizens than I ever did from a strong cup of GI Java. Do not believe any old baloney bender who disrespects our kids.
Our member Tanner Bowen, NMC student and AirVenture 2022 pancake breakfast professional, earned her instrument rating. BZ.
Ya snooze you loose. We must commit by 30 May. The chapter will pay for the sites; you pay the chapter no later than 30 May. After that, you may end up with a camp site in Fond du Lac. Our camping is across the street from the bathrooms, showers, laundry and Red Barn Convenience store. Nice digs.
Email us if you want to reserve a spot.
Our strategic planning is upon us in April and we’re planning on two 4 hours sessions; one on a Friday followed by one on a Saturday.
We’ve identified a need to better prepare for and manage our Pancake Breakfasts as they are one of our best ways to tell our story and fill some bellies. We will, more than likely, purchase a trailer. Consideration is to also use it for STEM education – Jennifer Smeltzer has done some nice legwork on the project and options.
We’re gonna update the Bylaws for our current century. We’ll end up with a document that considers deliberation, well informed and collegial discussion, plus the ability to move before the wind when necessary.
